Stroke can affect brain regions involved in emotion, impulse control, and social behavior, particularly in the frontal lobes.
How common
Possible management
Counseling, behavioral therapy, supportive environments, and education for family and caregivers.
Not uncommon, especially in strokes affecting emotional or executive function areas.
