What it is

How it shows up

Shaking that becomes more noticeable when reaching for or trying to touch something, such as picking up a cup or pressing a button.

Why it happens

Stroke affects the cerebellum or its pathways, which help coordinate precise movements.

How common
Possible management

Physical or occupational therapy, coordination exercises, and adaptive tools for daily tasks.

Less common than weakness or spasticity, but seen in strokes involving the cerebellum.
