Why it happens
Stroke affects language processing and communication pathways, often involving areas linked to aphasia.
How common
Possible management
Speech-language therapy, structured communication strategies, and giving extra time to process and respond.
Less common, but can occur in certain types of aphasia or language-related stroke effects.
