What it is
A sensation that you or the room around you is spinning or moving.
How it shows up
Feeling dizzy, unsteady, or as if the environment is rotating, often accompanied by nausea, imbalance, or difficulty walking.
Why it happens
Stroke can affect the brain regions involved in balance and spatial orientation, including the cerebellum or vestibular pathways.
How common
Less common than general dizziness but can occur in strokes involving balance-related areas.
Possible management
Vestibular therapy, balance training, slow position changes, and medical evaluation if symptoms persist.
