How it shows up
Dizziness when standing, irregular heart rate, sweating changes, temperature sensitivity, or digestive issues.
Why it happens
Stroke affects brain areas that regulate involuntary functions, such as the brainstem or hypothalamus.
How common
Less common, but can occur depending on the location and severity of the stroke.
Possible management
Monitoring vital signs, gradual position changes, hydration, medications if needed, and guidance from healthcare providers.
